It all began...

... In South Australia, the state known for wineries and the famous O-bahn.

I had been working as a registered nurse in hospitals and aged cares. While providing care to my patients and residents, I was frustrated by the lack of options they had in drying their feet. Towels were the only thing they could use, and they were slippery and not very absorbent.

Even at my home, traditional bath mats weren't doing the trick. They would shed, break easily and if I don't constantly wash and dry them, there would be odour and a pool of water underneath.

Then admidst numerous call bells

and incessant beeping of the IV pumps, I heard a ding in my head. What if there is a bath mat that is highly absorbent, durable, grips the floor well and is environmentally friendly? My search took me far and wide. I looked for different materials and alternatives.

Before long, I came across polyester and rubber combo lightweight bath mats. Since then, I knew I had to make my idea a reality inside Australian households.

Our team then

ordered a few samples of the rubber bath mats from environmentally minded and ethical manufacturers in China. We had to make sure that the product not only does its job but also surpass our expectations of what a bath mat is supposed to do.

For nearly a year, rigorous testing of the product ensued. we asked all our family members to use it as often as they can.
